If your vehicle didn’t come with a roof rack from the factory, but you find yourself hauling gear on the roof regularly, instead of constantly installing and removing a temporary setup it probably makes sense to install a permanent rack. Tracks are an easy to install and convenient base for a Thule , and even if you don’t leave the rack permanently installed they’ll make installing the rack feet quick and easy when it’s time to go.

Thule Tracks are constructed from rugged aluminum for strength and then black anodized for an attractive appearance with or without the roof rack installed. The Tracks with Flare-Nut Fasteners are made for steel and aluminum surfaces, and they’re available in 42″ and 54″ lengths. Their unique fasteners enable them to be installed completely from the top of the roof, making them ideal for and Minivans because removal of the headliner is not required. The Tracks with Bolts are made for fiberglass surfaces and require access to both sides of the roof, which makes them perfect for camper shells and truck caps.

Both Track systems are made to be used with Thule Podium or Rapid Podium feet. Each comes ready to install with everything required, even the drill bit. Detailed instructions will guide you through the easy installation procedure. And there’s no need to worry about water leaks, because the fasteners and installation process ensure a leak-proof seal. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer’s defects in materials or workmanship.
